If you get a little stuck with this project, here are some things to help you out:
This is Sudden Infant/Joke Lanz. I would only watch this if you want to have nightmares. There are a couple of prerecorded samples here, but most of it is his own body looped and distorted. It would be a pretty esoteric idea for this assignment...it also rules. So, you know, deal with that.
This is an albeit abstracted version of what we are doing by a group of students at Millsaps. Don't steal their ideas but you can use them for inspiration.
This is a piece by my friend Kevin who is also an artist. He did this with a low tech camera and a free online video editor.
Last one. I WOULDN'T watch this in the library. This one is both funny and true (meaning his take on art is pretty accurate) but with, well, swearing.
The bottom line for this project is to take a risk. Who cares what it looks like in the end?
